Ạbdat, arabisch Ạbda, Ruinenstätte in der Wüste Negev, Israel, 63 km von Beerscheba entfernt; auf der Anhöhe eine gut erhaltene byzantinische Burg und Ruinen von zwei byzantinischen Kirchen (im Fußboden der Theodoroskirche Marmorgrabplatten mit griechischen Inschriften); 250 m östlich ein ehemaliges römisches Feldlager, unweit davon eine nabatäische Grabkammer aus der Blütezeit der nabatäischen Stadt (1. Jahrhundert n. Chr.), nach deren Zerstörung (Anfang 2. Jahrhundert) der Wiederaufbau durch die Römer Mitte des 3. Jahrhunderts erfolgte.
